Fires Burn on Chinese University of Hong Kong Campus as Students Clash With Police

Flames lit up the Sha Tin campus of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in the late evening of November 11 and early hours of November 12, following one of the most violent days of the city’s ongoing protests.

According to local reports, police fired tear gas at a bridge near the edge of the campus and protesters responded by erecting barricades and tossing petrol bombs at officers.
