Fires Started as Police Clash With Protesters Near Caracas Red Cross

Police used tear gas and watercannons as clashes broke out with protesters near the Venezuelan Red Cross in the neighborhood of La Candelaria in Caracas on the night of July 26.

Multiple sources, including the uploader of this video, Delvalle Canelón, said that police officers shot out street lights so as not to be seen. A widely-shared video shows a person shooting out a street light, however the video has not yet been verified and it is unclear whether the video shows a police officer.
