There's nothing quite like crackling fires, hot chocolate and dazzling displays of light filling the night sky.

As its the weekend before Bonfire Night, many local villages and towns will be hosting their own firework celebrations. Although Bonfire Night is famously on November 5 which falls on a Tuesday this year, many will want to take advantage of celebrating on a Saturday night.

While you have the option to host your own dazzling display, many will opt to visit local events. But have you got one near you? We've put together some of the firework and bonfire displays happening over the next few days - including a 'quiet firework' display in Chorley.
