First Dates’ first baby as couple who met on TV show reveal they are expecting

The first ever First Dates baby is on the way – as a couple who met on the TV dating show has revealed they’re expecting their first baby, just months after being matched on the Channel 4 reality series.

It was love at first sight for Ibiba Mudada and Aarron Stewart who met in the show’s glitzy restaurant, and headed off to a shisha bar together immediately after their romantic meal, admitting they fell for each other within three dates.

“I was trying to keep it cool but I fancied him so much. I loved his long eyelashes and really genuine smile,” Ibiba, 28, confessed to The Mirror.

Following their first date at the Paternoster Chop House restaurant in London, the pair of lovebirds discovered they only lived two minutes apart in Bristol, so quickly arranged a second date and then a third date.

“Things got serious after the third date. Everything was quite intense. Then we went bowling and he met one of my best friends, who told me, ‘He’s a good ‘un!’” Ibiba, who has a 10-year-old daughter named Chenai, explained

“When I found out I was pregnant I wasn’t sure how he’s react. It was so soon,” she added. “We were getting into bed and I said, ‘There’s a baby in my belly – what’s going on?’ but he seemed really happy.”

The couple, whose baby is due in April, are both thrilled to be expanding their family, as 33-year-old Aarron, who has a daughter Tia, nine, and son Latham, six from a previous relationship, added: “I never expected to find love, let alone have a kid. It’s absolutely nuts – but I’m so happy.”

Ibiba and Aarron’s first date is aired tonight on Channel 4 at 10pm. Bring tissues, LOTS of tissues.
