One First Dates hopeful showed off the special skill that got her into this season's credits sequence, and won her date's heart.

In tonight's episode (October 4), guest Zoe went on her first ever date, but that didn't make her shy about sharing her special talent.

The 29-year-old from Sheffield waited until her and her date's first drinks arrived, and drank her pint of lager in three seconds.

Several viewers spotted her from this season's credits, but others had mixed reactions.

Zoe was paired for her date with 36-year-old car fanatic Mike. Thankfully, he seemed to be impressed.

"I've met someone who couldn't pour a pint in the time you can dispense of one," he joked at the end of their date.

The pair were matched for their self-proclaimed nerdy interests. He was a fan of classic cars and enjoyed going to car shows in Birmingham during his time off, while Zoe was a big fan of Star Wars and the Marvel films.

While their date seemed to get off to a rocky start, the two soon bonded over a shared sense of humour.

He opened up to her about his recent diagnosis with Asperger's Syndrome and his difficulties dating because of it. But he said he had "come to see it as a strength", which she wholeheartedly agreed with.

She shared a famous quote with him: "The people that mind don't matter, and the people that matter don't mind."

By the end of the episode, Mike said he wanted to see her again, adding that they "had plenty in common and conversation flowed easily".

Zoe agreed: "Considering it's my first ever date, it probably couldn't have gone much better."

And there was even better news to come, as the episode's ending revealed that the pair were planning to travel to Florida together.

First Dates airs on Channel 4.
