You may have read about Audible Stories launching last month, with hundreds of audio titles released for free to entertain children during school closures. If you haven't checked it out yet, now is the time to.

Not only are the stories completely free, with no sign-up or registration, but Audible has just added the first Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone to the offering!

Members and non-members alike are able to stream the audiobook completely for free on Audible Stories, in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish. So, not only can you listen to your beloved Potter, or introduce some new little fans to it, but you could also try it in another language if you're looking to learn or brush up on your existing skills.

After a whole day with the kids, why not let Stephen Fry takeover bed time story duties? The English version of the audiobook is narrated by the Golden Globe and BAFTA nominee.

The audiobook free release is part of the Wizarding World's new collaborative Harry Potter at Home resource, which JK Rowling announced to fans on Twitter this week. Filled with fun quizzes and activities aimed at first-time readers, it's definitely worth checking out!
