First Liverpool Adidas kit 'leak' emerges amid uncertainty over Nike deal
Liverpool are continuing to be linked with switching to Adidas from Nike, with a design for a new kit seemingly being 'leaked' online. The Reds' current deal with Nike is set to run out at the end of the current season and there are rumours that the club will be set for a change.
Nike have been Liverpool's kit provider since the 2020/21 season after a "multi-year deal" was agreed back in 2020. The Reds are now into the fifth season of the agreement with Nike, and it remains to be seen if the deal will continue into the 2025/26 campaign.
Adidas have been linked with potentially replacing Nike as their kit provider in recent months, with Sport Business first reporting the rumours back in April. However, Liverpool declined to comment when recently asked by the ECHO about the prospect of switching to the German sportswear company.

For now, it remains uncertain who will be supplying Liverpool's kits from next season. Amid the rumours that it could be Adidas, a 'leaked' design has emerged of how one could look if the Reds do decide to switch from Nike within the next few months.
Footy Headlines have provided a design for a potential goalkeeper kit for Liverpool, were they to switch to Adidas. The design is predominantly black with lime green trimmings on the Liverpool badge, Standard Chartered sponsor and the Adidas logo and famous stripes on the shoulders and leaves.
No designs are yet to emerge on Liverpool's potential new home kits should they switch to Adidas. Were an agreement to be reached, it would see the Reds return to the kit supplier for the first time since the 2011/12 season, after which Liverpool switched to Warrior and later New Balance.
Manchester United and Arsenal are two Premier League clubs who currently have Adidas as their kit supplier. It has been reported that United's deal is worth £900 million over 10 years while it's also reported to be £75 million per season over eight years for the Gunners.
