Former Friends co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon reunite nearly 20 years later in the first look at their new Apple Original Series.
The pair played siblings on the classic US sitcom, but they'll be two rivals in US breakfast telly in the dramedy series The Morning Show.
The two are pit against each other by their network bosses when Witherspoon's star reporter Bradley Jackson is brought onto The Morning Show to replace Alex Levy's (Aniston) long-time partner Mitch Kessler (Steve Carell) over #MeToo allegations.
Their conflict is summed up with Witherspoon's character explaining: "[Viewers] want to trust that the person who is telling the truth about the world is an honest person."
Aside from its leads, The Morning Show also boasts Black Mirror's 'San Junipero' star Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Informer's Bel Powley, Big Mouth actor Mark Duplass and Gypsy's Billy Crudup in its supporting cast.
The two-season commitment Apple gave The Morning Show back in late 2017 has been reported to be worth a whopping $240 million, as the tech giant hopes to expand its scripted content.
Apple is also working on a reboot of Steven Spielberg's Amazing Stories anthology series, the Battlestar Galactica reboot showrunner's space epic For All Mankind and Captain Marvel star Brie Larson's adaptation of the CIA thriller Life Undercover: Coming of Age in the CIA.
The Morning Show will be coming to the Apple TV app this autumn.
