The Missing spin-off series Baptiste has unveiled the first look at its second series, including the debut of Killing Eve star Fiona Shaw.

The actress was confirmed to be joining the cast earlier this year, joining Tchéky Karyo's retired police investigator Julien Baptiste.

Shaw plays the role of Emma Chambers, a British Ambassador whose entire family disappears on a skiing holiday in the Hungarian mountains, and in the first pictures we see her wondering the wilds, as well as a very-beardy Baptiste.

The new series will see Baptiste immerse himself into Emma's world as he commits to finding her husband and two sons.

However, the case then turns into something more brutal and desperate, and Julien must navigate the Hungarian police force he doesn't trust as well as an unrelenting media who become hungry for information on the high-profile case.

Described as his most complex case yet, Julien must also remain rational in the face of chaos as he tries to find Emma's family.

Shaw previously said she was honoured" to be joining the "hugely talented and committed team" on Baptiste on the new six-part series.

Baptiste will return on BBC One.
