Liverpool Cathedral’s The Light Before Christmas event returns next week. The immersive sound and light installation transforms the main hall into a canvas of light, sound, and storytelling.

The Light Before Christmas: Starlight features projections and bespoke soundscapes that bring the cathedral’s architecture to life. This year's show will retell the Nativity story through the eyes of the Luxmuralis team's sculptor, Peter Walker, and composer, David Harper.

The Very Revd Dr Sue Jones, Dean of Liverpool, said: "We are thrilled to welcome back The Light Before Christmas for its third year.

"We know it has become a meaningful tradition for so many, and this year’s new story celebrates our centenary in a truly special way. We invite everyone to engage with the Nativity story in a festive, unforgettable setting."
