First look at 'Meet the Rees-Moggs' reality series as trailer released
The trailer for new fly-on-the-wall documentary Meet the Rees-Moggs has been released, giving viewers more of a taste of what is to come from the new reality show.
The series will give viewers 'unprecedented access' to Jacob Rees-Mogg, his wife Lady Helena, their six children, below stairs staff and Nanny Veronica. Sir Jacob was the MP for North East Somerset for 14 years from 2010, and unsuccessfully defended his seat - renamed North East Somerset and Hanham after boundary changes - against the man he beat in 2010, Labour ’s Dan Norris.
Programme-makers said they were granted ‘exclusive access’ to provide a ‘never-before-seen look into his life at home in the 17th century Somerset house where he lives with his wife and six children’. A spokesperson for Discovery said: "Following Rees-Mogg through the run up to the General Election and the aftermath that follows, the series will give viewers insight into the political figure who divides opinion as well as the husband and father at home.
