Yahoo News First look at Murder on the Blackpool Express
UKTV's feature length Agatha Christie spoof Murder on the Blackpool Express is nearly here, and we've got an exclusive clip just for you.
The one-off special stars Johnny Vegas and Sian Gibson as two coach workers whose passengers mysteriously die off one by one.
As you might expect, the film features plenty of recognisable British faces, including actors from Benidorm, Sherlock, The IT Crowd and more.
There's Una Stubbs, Griff Rhys Jones, Nina Wadia, Sheila Reid, Kevin Eldon, Mark Heap, Kimberley Nixon, Katy Cavanagh, Matthew Cottle, Susie Blake and Javone Prince.
It's even got Nigel Havers in it, and judging from the clip, he's looking decidedly suspicious:
That line about the sister is actually perfect in writing and comic delivery – which bodes very well indeed.
Johnny Vegas previously called Murder on the Blackpool Express a real treat for comedy lovers and whodunnits alike", while Sian Gibson said the project was "such a pleasure" to work on.
The feature is written by Jason Cook, who'll you know from Hebburn, and directed by Simon Delaney, who has worked on Cold Feet.
Basically, everything is adding up to it being one of those comfort things that always gets repeated and you stick on whenever you're having a lazy day – and we're all for it.
Murder on the Blackpool Express, a one-off feature, airs on Saturday, November 11 at 9.30pm on Gold.
