First look at revamped Hickory's restaurant in Rhos-on-Sea
Hickory’s Smokehouse restaurant and neighbourhood bar in Rhos-On-Sea has reopened after a major revamp. The popular US smokehouse group launched in Chester in 2010.
It then opened a site in Rhos-on-Sea back in 2014 - transforming the old Ship pub. It has proved immensely popular in the area and the brand has also added another North Wales site in Wrexham.
After a decade they decided it was time to freshen up the Rhos site - with the restaurant closing last month. This week they reopened the venue.

The restaurant and bar have both undergone a complete refresh with plenty of new seating, from cosy booths to larger tables for groups and families.
Regulars who enjoy a drink at the bar can expect a new, more secluded space that is separate from the main dining area.
The kitchen has had a refit and they also added a new smoker. The Southern Pride smoker made it safely across the Atlantic from Alamo, Tennessee in time for the re-opening. For BBQ fans the Chef’s Bar has been revamped.
Their popular cinema room has had it’s own re-fresh so the kids can enjoy a movie in style. The popular ‘Green Room’ for larger groups and event has been transformed.
General Manager Jonathan Arnison said: ‘We cannot wait to welcome guests back after our re-fresh. We have loved re-imagining our spaces and getting the place ready for more BBQ, sport and good times.
“We can’t wait to see what guests think of what we’ve done to the place. Hopefully we will see lots of familiar faces and we are looking forward to introducing all things BBQ to more guests. It’s great to be back doing what we love – looking after our guests and firing up the smokers."
