An exciting new food spot that's set to open in the city centre specialising in all things chicken has offered a glimpse at what its interiors will look like, as well as revealing more about the menu.

Yum Yum Chicken, set to take over the site formerly occupied by Bing Bang Bosh on the corner of Gordon Street and West Nile Street, got food fans talking earlier this year when its signs appeared in the window.

Focusing on all things chicken, the owner behind the new venture, Young Yee - a Glasgow-based restauranteur with over 15 years of experience in Asian and fusion cuisine - has shared renders of how their new interiors will look and revealed more details about what people can expect from the menu.

Hoping that Glaswegians will "fall in love with" his new dining concept, Young explained that they are aiming to create a laid-back, seriously fun experience for their diners with "delicious, unforgettable chicken served in a slick, contemporary interior", with a menu packed with cracking crispy chicken, clean refreshing beers and "some delicious ‘cluck-tails’".

He added: "Our menu will focus on all things chicken including wings, fried chicken, tenders, and of course, burgers and buns, with cool combos and sensational sauces that will certainly hit the spot.

"We’ll be serving our secretly seasoned fried chicken burgers, terrific tenders and some surprises that will have you coming back for more.

"Pair all that with a schooner of beer or a delightful cocktail and you’ve got the perfect night out, lunch or casual dining experience in Glasgow."

Ahead of the opening they have shared renders of the interiors which have been designed by Edinburgh-based studio JA!COCO!, which show how the space will boast "slick seating, warming tones and a cool, welcoming vibe".
