Mark Hamill may just have revealed the first ever picture of himself in costume as Luke Skywalker.
He took to Twitter on Saturday evening (March 18) to share a never-before-seen image of himself as a 24-year-old Luke Skywalker, waiting to shoot his first take on the first ever day of Star Wars.
While we're sure the snap would have raked in millions if sold to the highest bidder, Hamill seemingly decided to be a little more charitable and share the snap on Twitter instead.
"Taken in Tunisia early morning Day #1 waiting for my 1st shot (emerging from home for robot auction)-Perhaps the very 1st #LukePic #SW", he wrote.
Hamill is of course referring to the opening scene of A New Hope where he bags himself a new robot in the form of R2-D2.
After sharing the photo, he also answered fan's questions, revealing that he had much more faith in the project than the crew did.
"Crew was kind but thought #SW was 'rubbish'-I kept telling them'We're on a winner!'#LOLuke", he joked.
Hamill is next starring in Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi, which kicks off right where The Force Awakens ended with Luke talking to Rey.
Just don't get used to Hamill sticking around for too long, as the franchise is looking to move on from its original characters.
Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi will be released on December 16.
