First picture of mum, 56, killed in Stoke-on-Trent collision
The devastated family of a 56-year-old mum killed in a collision have led tributes to their loved-one. Pedestrian Sharon Taft, from Forsbrook, was pronounced dead on Blurton Road, in Blurton, after being struck by a black Kia Ceed.
Police, paramedics, firefighters, and an air ambulance were called to the tragedy at 11.36am on Monday 18 November.
In a tribute to their loved-one, Sharon’s family said: “As a family, we’re still coming to terms with the massive hole that’s been created in our world. Our mum was such a big character with an even bigger heart. She was a devoted mum, nanny, partner, sister, and friend to many. Her absence will be felt deeply and her grandchildren love and miss her so much already. Her youngest daughter Milli wants people to know that her mum was such a gorgeous woman who lit up any room she walked in. She made sure that everyone was better off before herself.”
