First picture of 'warm and gentle' biker killed in Staffordshire smash
Grieving relatives have paid tribute to a 'warm and gentle' biker killed in a Staffordshire collision. Alex Dickenson passed away at the scene of the crash on the A5.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident which also left a woman with serious injuries. Emergency services were called to the eastbound carriageway between Ventura Retail Park and Marlborough Way at 7.15pm on November 6.
In a horrific set of events 28-year-old Alex, who was riding a blue Yamaha motorbike, was initially involved in a collision with a white Mercedes. Debris from that crash struck a white Vauxhall Adam travelling on the westbound side.

A white Scania HGV was then involved in a crash with the stationary Vauxhall and Alex. As reported by StokeonTrentLive, Alex was pronounced dead at the scene while the Vauxhall driver suffered 'serious injuries'.
Today the biker's family have issued a tribute.
In a statement issued by Staffordshire Police they said: "Our Alex, so kind, so warm, so gentle, so funny. He will be forever loved and missed. All our love.”
The force says the Vauxhall driver, a woman in her 50s, continues to recover in hospital. The trucker remained at the scene and is 'assisting police with the investigation.'
A force spokesman added: "We’re keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened on either carriageway or those with CCTV or dashcam of the area at the time."
