Aquaman has started filming, and has got a cool working title to celebrate.
Director James Wan marked the occasion with the very first set photo from the DC solo outing, revealing the working title "Ahab" in a hashtag, likely a reference to the captain in Moby-Dick and not to the seventh king of Israel.
"Months of intensive prep have led to this. Here we go," Wan wrote, and we've got our fingers crossed that the prep pays off.
We first saw Jason Momoa's Aquaman briefly in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and will next see him in Justice League, before he gets a whole movie to himself taking on '80s action movie legend Dolph Lundgren.
Lundgren plays the villainous King Nereus of aquatic kingdom Xebel who – of course – wants to kill Aquaman.
The movie also reunites Wan with his Conjuring star Patrick Wilson as baddie Orm and also features Amber Heard as Aquaman's love interest Mera, Star Wars' Temuera Morrison as his dad, Nicole Kidman as his mum and Willem Dafoe as Aquaman's advisor Dr. Vulko.
But even before we get to see how they all work together, DC fans have been getting into a row on Twitter over the number of prongs on Aquaman's trident.
Justice League is released in cinemas on November 17, with Aquaman following on December 21, 2018.
