Five Bristol Oktoberfest events coming up
Oktoberfest events in the UK are increasing with popularity year upon year, and Bristol is no stranger to the celebration. For those who aren't familiar with the occasion Oktoberfest is a Bavarian folk festival of sorts, celebrating Bavarian culture, food and, of course, beer.
Usually quite a grand scale affair, you may recognise an Oktoberfest event by the outfits usually worn by festival goers - men in lederhosen is a must - and people carrying huge stacks of tankards/steins full of beer. Here in Bristol, there are Oktoberfest events taking place from even the end of September through to mid October.
So if you fancy celebrating Oktoberfest, we've picked out some of the events coming up in the city that may be of interest...
