Five cheap homes set to go under the hammer in Greater Manchester this month - with prices from £20,000
Buying a property at an auction is one of the best ways to snap up a home for a bargain price. With the average house price in Greater Manchester now at £259,336 according to Rightmove, many houses that go under the hammer sell for much cheaper than on the traditional market.
Auctions are held across the region every month, and there is now the chance to buy your next home at one in Greater Manchester on December 10.
With guide prices starting from just £20,000, the majority of these properties are doer uppers. Although they may require a fair bit of renovating - they can be a worthwhile investment with the potential to become great homes to live in, rent out or sell for a profit.
