Five new flights launching from Glasgow and Edinburgh airports as easyJet offers Scots winter sun

Scots looking to catch a glimpse of some winter sunshine are in luck as easyJet launch five new destinations for 2024.

The new winter routes will begin flying from Glasgow and Edinburgh airports in the later months of this year.

The new routes are now available to book and destinations include:

  • Glasgow to Fuerteventura flights will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and

  • Saturdays from 30 October

  • Glasgow to Lanzarote flights will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays

  • from 27 October

  • Glasgow to Marrakech flights will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays

  • from 11 November

  • Glasgow to Prague flights will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays from

  • 7 November

  • Edinburgh to Agadir flights will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays

  • from 6 November

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK country manager said: “We’re delighted to be releasing an incredible range of new routes today for this winter, our largest release.

"With 33 new services now available from 11 UK airports, our flights and holidays are available for even more and brand new destinations including Agadir, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Marrakech, and Prague from Scotland.”

Christopher Tibbett, aero director at AGS Airports, which owns Glasgow Airport, added: “This announcement coupled with the recent introduction of a sixth based aircraft this year demonstrates easyJet’s commitment to growing its considerable destination offering at Glasgow.

"It has been a great year for both airline and airport and long may that continue.”
