One ticket grants access to multiple Hackney venues including Oval Space, the Moth Club, the Laundry and St John’s church. The hipster heavy line-up features US electro-punks Liars, gothic Norwegian Jenny Hval and mysterious PC Music man Sophie.

Usually, decent London gigs are few and far between during August while everyone journeys around the festivals, so it’s a pleasure to see this innovative singer-songwriter bringing her piano to town.

Now experiencing some success as an actress in the Netflix wrestling drama GLOW[subs:CAPS], Nash finds time to mark 10 years since her debut album, Made of Bricks, went to number one and became a platinum seller.

Music Matters at Selfridges

Ultralounge, a new venue inside the venerable department store, is hosting gigs throughout the summer with 20 per cent of profits going to the Music Venues Trust. This week’s acts include Kudu Blue on Wednesday and Raye and Mabel on Thursday.
