Five people in critical condition after air ambulance called to crash near Doddington Hall
Five people are in critical condition following a serious crash on a road near a Lincolnshire landmark. Emergency services, including the air ambulance, were called to the two-car crash north of Doddington Hall at 9.21am on Monday, October 28.
The incident, which took place on Doddington Road, involved a silver BMW and a grey Nissan Qashqai. Multiple road closures were put in place at the time and were eventually all lifted by 8pm.
The drivers of both cars were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital were they remain in a critical condition, as is the passenger of the BMW and the two passengers who were travelling in the Nissan. In an appeal to the public, a spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: "At the moment our investigation is focused on finding out what happened – and we need your help.

"The Nissan had been traveling in the direction of Gainsborough from Doddington, and the BMW was travelling from the Broadholme direction when the collision took place. We are keen to hear from anyone who saw either vehicle driving along the surrounding roads before the collision took place, and we are particularly keen to view any footage of those cars.
