Five police cars, three ambulances and fire engine at scene of Blurton incident

Five police cars, three ambulances and a fire engine are this afternoon at the scene of a major incident on one of Stoke-on-Trent's busiest roads. Emergency services have cordoned off a section of Blurton Road, in Blurton.

The alarm was raised at around midday. An air ambulance has also landed as part of the emergency services response.

One StokeonTrentLive reader said: "There is a massive incident on Blurton Road. It is shut and the air ambulance is there."

StokeonTrentLive has approached Staffordshire Police, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, and West Midlands Ambulance Service for statements regarding this unfolding incident. Any witnesses can call the police on 101.
