Rapper ASAP Rocky has given little notice for his new album, Testing, out today. There are some insights to be had in a decidedly odd performance art thing he streamed from Sotheby’s the other day, however, in which he stood in a perspex box and was treated like a lab rat.

Two years since Maryland singer-songwriter Maggie Rogers went viral when Pharrell Williams praised her song during her university class, she’s back with a new single that’s just as good. Fallingwater continues her mix of nature imagery and soft electronics.

Biffy Clyro, who usually stay on the loud side of things, release an MTV Unplugged album today. It sees their songwriting ability take precedence over volume, especially on tracks such as Mountains.

Known for the cartoon humour of her rapping, Lady Leshurr sings instead on her new dancehall-style tune, OMW. It’s the first track from a debut album on the way later this year.

Colombian singer J Balvin has been heard on recent songs with Liam Payne and Cardi B, but he’s worth investigating in his own right on Spanish-language songs such as Ambiente, taken from his latest album out today.
