FKA Twigs calls her viral photo with Peter Andre, Junior and Princess 'iconic'
Until recently, it might have seemed unlikely to hear FKA Twigs and Peter Andre spoken about in the same sentence - until some old photos emerged of the superstar as his backing dancer and cradling his young children Junior and Princess.
The pictures went viral after being shared on Twitter account Love of Huns and now FKA Twigs, who is about to collect the NME Godlike Genius award, has joked that they have cemented her status as an icon.

She can be seen wearing a sequinned vest, hotpants and fishnet tights in the photos where she poses backstage with Andre and the two children he shares with ex-wife Katie Price, and in another snap hugs a young Junior.
FKA Twigs told the NME: "I think it’s iconic – I wasn’t sure I was an icon before [seeing the photo] but I’m sure now.

"I’ve hugged Junior and Princess. Has Dua Lipa done that? Has The Weeknd? Has Post Malone? No, they haven’t, so no one’s got anything on me now."
Elsewhere in the interview, the star talks about her latest mixtape Caprisongs which she says was inspired by wanting to hear the snippets of conversation and background noise that she missed so much during lockdown.

She also made reference to her former relationship with Hollywood star Shia LaBeouf, who she filed a sexual battery lawsuit against.
Talking about how she felt her star sign as a Capricorn had influenced the music, she said: "When I started making the mixtape, it’s no secret that my personal life was in absolute tatters. And I was like, 'I’m going to go to the studio and do this and do that.' And then I would think, 'That’s because I’m a Capricorn: I’m obsessed with work.'"
FKA Twigs was recently announced as the winner of the Godlike Genius award and will collect it at a ceremony at Brixton's O2 Academy on Wednesday (2 March).
In a statement after being named by the music magazine, she said: "To see my name amongst the iconic likes of The Clash, The Cure and Blondie is unreal!
"I am so proud to be the first Black female artist to have been honoured, still baby-faced, and inspired as hell. Here’s to the next decade of making art and music."
