Flash Flooding Spurs State of Emergency in Southwestern Tennessee

Officials in southwestern Tennessee declared a state of emergency on July 1 after intense storms brought more than four inches of rain to the town of Selmer.

McNairy County Mayor Larry Smith declared the state of emergency on Wednesday morning.

This video shows Mulberry Avenue in Selmer on Wednesday morning.
