Flash floods cause landslide and submerge Chinese city

Flash floods caused a landslide and submerged a city in southern China due to heavy rain. The video, filmed in the city of Ya'an in Sichuan Province on August 18, shows streets being submerged and cars getting trapped in deep the floodwater. The local meteorological observatory has issued a red warning signal (the strongest level) for the rainstorm as well as the warning signal for geological hazards and meteorological risks. The loss is being counted. The video was provided by local media with permission.
