Art attack, across town

Frieze kicked off in boozy style at Regent’s Park, where Eric Underwood appraised the performance artists at the Evening Standard’s Ruinart-fuelled bash, while across the park Lulu hit Chris Levine’s preview of Inner (Deep) Space to benefit the Elton John Aids Foundation and everyone descended on the Arts Club afterwards.

Wild child, Mayfair

Safari hats off to revellers at the Annabel’s Jungle Party — every guest bar one dressed up, from Jacqui Ritchie in leopard print to David Tollemache, held hostage by a gorilla. Fierce.

Swishest wish, Oxford Street

A wish granted, as Batia Ofer and Alison Loehnis hosted a fundraising lunch in aid of the Make- A-Wish Foundation at Centrepoint, where Jasmine Hemsley chatted to Samantha Cameron about Ayurvedic medicine while the room dined on tuna carpaccio.
