Something about Mary, Mayfair

Happy birthday Mary Katrantzou! The late Noughties-defining fashion brand celebrated a decade of brilliance with a Matchesfashion.com party at 5 Carlos Place, where pals Princess Beatrice and Alexander Fury had fun with the festoon of rainbow balloons while Alice Naylor-Leyland did a spectacular job of matching the multicoloured cocktails.

House party, Haymarket

It was over to Dover Street Market’s Open House for a prosecco and sausage roll party to celebrate Frieze. Charles Jeffrey played music from his LoverBoy party playlist, Martin Parr snapped pics and John Boyega went jewellery shopping downstairs with Simone Rocha.

Teddy bears’ brunch, Mayfair

James Blunt got up bright and early for blueberry muffins at Ralph’s Coffee & Bar in aid of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, where Caroline Winberg spent most of her time in the photobooth posing with a teddy bear.

Eau de Cara, Mayfair

Cara Delevingne got mates Jourdan Dunn, Lara Mullen and Jamal Edwards over to a house party for the launch of Burberry’s new ‘Her’ fragrance, with pisco sours flowing, serious dance moves accompanying Josh Ludlow’s DJ set and some very welcome fish and chips later in the night.

One to watch, Shoreditch

Off to the Electric Light Studios for the BFI and IWC Schaffhausen’s blue-hued dinner. Acrobats twirled across the ceiling as Rosamund Pike and Daniel Kaluuya sipped Veuve Clicquot, and Edgar Wright awarded Richard Billingham the IWC film-maker £50k bursary.

London calling, Waterloo

Influential? Only if you were one of the guests gathered underground at The Vaults for the Evening Standard’s Progress 1000, where Munroe Bergdorf, Fenn O’Meally and Henry Holland knocked back negronis as they listened to Harry and Meghan’s fave, Kingdom Choir. Until next year!
