'We flew to Ibiza for 24-hour holiday and partied all night to avoid booking hotel'

Two friends embarked on a whirlwind 24-hour holiday to Ibiza, partying all night to avoid the need for a hotel booking.

Molly Stratford and Steph Tanner, both 19, realised their budget wouldn't stretch to a week-long holiday, so opted for a mini-break, flying out one day and returning the next. With plans to attend a music event, they decided to stay up all night, eliminating the need for accommodation or luggage.

Molly packed only a small shoulder bag with a few Euros, her passport, and a phone charger. After a night at the club, they enjoyed an early morning swim and a day of sunbathing on the beach before flying home that evening.

Molly, a special educational needs teaching assistant, described the trip as "the best night of my whole life". She added: "Knowing we were only there 24 hours gave us a bit more excitement for everything."

Despite feeling unwell due to lack of sleep, she has no regrets and is already planning their next 24-hour trip. They flew out on August 7, having booked their EasyJet flights - costing £40 - two days prior.

They wore their bikinis with shorts and a T-shirt for the flight, ditching their t-shirts upon arrival at 11pm. The group made a beeline for the club, Hi Ibiza, but not before making a quick stop at the supermarket to grab some pre-drinks to kickstart their party mood.

After dancing the night away until 6am, they headed straight to the beach for an early morning dip and a stroll along the sandy shores to clear their heads.

Molly shared: "We sat in a little lifeguard hut on the beach until the sun rose then we went for a swim and it was already so warm. We debated buying towels but we hired sunbeds that already had towels on them.

"We napped for a while then we got hungry and got a KFC and charged our phones. Then we went and had a look around some nice shops before heading back to the airport in a taxi."

Despite their sore heads from the previous evening, the pair loved every second - and are already planning their next trip.

Molly said: "It was the best night of my whole life. We're planning to go back to Ibiza again to see Calvin Harris in late September."
