The Flight Attendant's Michelle Gomez as has described her relationship with co-star Kaley Cuoco on set as a "girl-mance".

In the HBO series, Kaley plays flight attendant Cassie whose date night with a handsome passenger in Bangkok somehow goes horribly wrong.

After a night of drinking, Cassie wakes to find her date Alex has been horribly murdered and she has no recollection of what happened.

As for how Michelle's character fits into it all, you'll have to watch the show to find out.

Speaking about the dynamic between the two behind the scenes, Michelle told Digital Spy exclusively: "I think we were described as an unlikely pair.

"Maybe you wouldn’t have put us together in real life, but we just had an instant chemistry, I suppose, and a little – what's the opposite of a bromance? A girl-mance?

"It was just a professional relationship that grew into a really lovely friendship really quickly – not just with Kaley, but with Zosia Mamet as well. Both of those girls are phenomenal.

"I think maybe the production saw that, and liked it," Michelle continued. "As the show develops, you get more of that unlikely pair. And we have some fun with that as well. Not just off-camera, but on-camera too."

The Flight Attendant was billed by HBO as a limited series but Kaley has since said that Cassie may be back for a return trip.

"I hope so," she told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live when asked if we can expect a season two.

"It was meant to be a limited series for sure but we'd actually really like to do a season two."

The Flight Attendant premiered November 26 on HBO Max. No UK airdate has been announced so far.
