The video started with Adriana holding up a bottle of champagne while on a flight. Overlay text read: "Today I will tell you a secret..."

She was then seen pouring some of the champagne down the on-board sink as she grimaced towards the camera.

Explaining all in the caption, she wrote: "Everyone wanted to know… what champagne is served on board in Business class. Of course it’s Moët & Chandon and Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut, always freshly opened and bubbly champagne is presented to the customers.

"At the end of every flight we pour away all the open bottles of champagne so it can’t be used for the next flight and we open a new bottle just before serving it to the customer."

The clip has gone viral, racking up more than 42,000 likes as people said their 'mind was blown' by the information.

The post comes other flight attendants recently revealed what you can do to improve your chances of a free flight upgrade.

Flight attendants with Virgin Atlantic and British Airways said you should travel during off peak times, pluck up the courage to ask and ditch your partner or family if you want a chance of a free upgrade.
