The Flight Attendant star Kaley Cuoco has shared a first look at season 2 with a brand new picture.

The bright and colourful photo shows the actress as Cassie Bowden standing in front of a very Instagrammable wall and looking a bit shifty.

Kayley posted it on her Instagram and captioned the picture: "Cassie and Cassie's hair are back @flightattendantonmax season 2 prepare for yet another turbulent decent."

Based on the book of the same name by Chris Bohjalian, the story follows flight attendant Cassie, who after sleeping with a passenger following a heavy night, she wakes up next to his dead body and gets caught up in an espionage plot.

She also has a lot of personal issues to deal with, including battling an alcohol addiction and trying to cope with the death of her father.

There isn't a lot to go on about season two plots yet, so we'll just have to wait and see.

The actress has recently announced that she and her husband Karl Cook have split after three years of marriage.

Cuoco and Cook confirmed the news in a joint statement issued to People, in which they shared that they had amicably made the decision to go their separate ways.

"Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions. We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary," the statement read.

"We have made this decision together through an immense amount of respect and consideration for one another and request that you do the same in understanding that we will not be sharing any additional details or commenting further," they added.

The Flight Attendant, based on the book of the same name by Chris Bohjalian, airs on Sky One and NOW in the UK and HBO Max in the US.
