If Kaley Cuoco hadn't have ended up an actor, she could have easily played football for a living, reckons her Flight Attendant co-star.

Based on Chris Bohjalian's 2018 novel, the dark comedy-thriller sees the former Big Bang Theory star play Cassie Bowden, a struggling air hostess who wakes up next to the dead body of Alex, a man she hooked up with the night prior in a Bangkok hotel.

Only, she can't recall what happened.

Michelle Gomez, who portrays one of Alex's former work associates Miranda Croft, recently sat down with Digital Spy to talk about being a part of the show. Specifically her character's first meet with Cassie, which sees the latter boot a shoe towards her face.

"That girl has got a foot, I'm telling you. Her precision, in the way that she kicks that shoe at my head, was up there with a professional footballer," she joked. "She never missed it. So much so that the network thought that they had green-screened it in there.

"What they didn't realise was that it was entirely real! Every time she kicked that shoe at my head, everybody gasped at the monitor because they thought that it had made contact."

Gomez then detailed how fun it was to play Miranda's reaction, too, adding: "It's just really fun piling down the aisle, and throwing people out of my way.

"I felt like the Incredible Hulk, but in cashmere. I'm not particularly built. But I liked that this wily, little Scottish woman took no prisoners. It was a chic attack."

The Flight Attendant airs on HBO Max in the US. A UK release date has yet to be confirmed.
