Flights Impacted at Heathrow as Fog Causes Low Visibility

Cold temperatures and thick fog impacted flights at Heathrow Airport on Sunday and Monday, January 22 and 23, local media reported.

Footage recorded by @nomad_joey shows heavy fog at Terminal 2 on Sunday.

Another social media user posted that their flight was delayed for two hours due to fog on Sunday.

On Monday, local media reported that up to 80 flights were cancelled out of Heathrow. An airport spokesperson told MyLondon that they expected “minor changes” to scheduled flights due to “poor visibility”.
