Loose Women star and Celebrity Big Brother winner Coleen Nolan has signed up for a celebrity special of Channel 4 show Flirty Dancing as part of Stand Up to Cancer.

Coleen, who was famously part of 'I'm in the Mood for Dancing' hitmakers The Nolans, will learn her part of a romantic dance with the help of choreographer Ashley Banjo. She will then perform the dance with a complete stranger where, possibly, flirting will ensue.

The star said: "Talking about my love life on TV is second nature to me but Flirty Dancing was a whole new ball game. I don't think I've ever been so nervous.

"But I loved the show and, as it's for such a good cause, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and give it a go."

"It's no secret cancer has deeply affected our family," she added, referring to her father Tommy and sister Bernie, who tragically passed away because of cancer, "so I am delighted to do anything I can to help raise money for Stand Up To Cancer. The work being done is phenomenal."

As well as her father and Bernie, Coleen's sisters Anne and Linda have also been diagnosed with cancer.
