Flooding Along Tennessee's Duck River as Heavy Rain Continues

Aerial footage from September 22 shows flooding along the banks of the Duck River in Columbia, Tennessee, after above-average rainfall in the state.

The footage, released by the Columbia Police Department, shows the river’s high waters along Riverside Drive and Riverwalk Park.

On September 22, the National Weather Service said the river was in “minor” flood stage.

A meteorologist who spoke to WKRN said Tennessee was very near to its wettest summer on record.
