Flooding in Barcelona Airport as Alerts Issued
Barcelona Airport was flooded on Monday, November 4, as severe weather alerts were issued for parts of Catalonia, following deadly flooding elsewhere in Spain the previous week.
The video here, captured by @ericterrownie, shows water filtering through the airport ceiling and people walking on flooded floors.
Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport wrote on X that flights were being diverted or canceled due to the weather event.
