Flooding Disrupts Traffic on Tai Tam Road in Hong Kong

Torrential rain caused severe flooding in Hong Kong on Wednesday, October 19, and the Hong Kong Observatory issued a black rainstorm warning signal as the city was drenched by Typhoon Sarika.

Black warnings indicate flooding “likely to bring about serious road flooding and traffic congestion,” according to the Hong Kong Observatory.

Traffic disruptions were reported in multiple areas and there was a risk of flash flooding in Northern Territories, according to local reports.
