At least 33 people have been killed in extreme flooding in western Germany, Die Welt said on July 15. Approximately 70 more were reported missing, the news outlet said.
This footage shows torrents of water flowing down the streets of Langenberg, a quarter in the city of Velbert, and into properties and establishments.
Police warned residents in the nearby city of Hagen to stay out of the water after damage to electric cables.
Local news reported that the power in Langenberg had been switched off.
