Flooding in Mumbai After Heavy Rainfall

Heavy rainfall caused flooding in Mumbai, India, on July 3, after an orange alert was issued for several areas, according to news reports.

This footage, shared by journalist Rajesh Kumar, shows flooding in the city’s Hindmata area – a “chronic” spot for flooding, according to the Times of India.

India’s Meteorological Department said on Twitter intense to very intense rain was likely to continue across most areas of the city.
