Roads and intersections were flooded in Montreal over the weekend of April 21 after heavy rain hit Quebec and raised water levels in local rivers, local media reported.
This footage shows flooding in western Montreal, along the intersection of Pierrefonds and St. Jean Boulevard, where some ducks can be seen swimming in the water.
According to reports from CBC, Montreal officials were monitoring the Prairies River and Mille-Îles River and stacking sandbags to prevent further overflow.
By Monday, around 2,400 homes throughout Quebec had been affected by the flooding, CTV News reported. Credit: Sky Of The Universe via Storyful
