Flooding Seen on Cayman Islands After Storm Grace Passes

The National Hurricane Center (NHC) confirmed Tropical Storm Grace became a hurricane over the northwestern Caribbean Sea on Wednesday, August 18.

The storm reached the Cayman Islands on August 18, after passing over Haiti and Jamaica. It is expected to move toward Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, the NHC said.

This footage shows flooding in front of a residential building on the western part of Grand Cayman on August 18.
