Floodwater Flows in Southern California Streets
The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a flood warning saying there may be “flooding caused by excessive rainfall” in parts of Southern California, on Monday, August 1.
The NWS said there was a thunderstorm “producing heavy rainfall” of 0.5 to 0.7 inches (1.27-1.78 centimeters) an hour.
