Floodwaters Inundate Transit Center at San Diego Mall

The National Weather Service (NWS) urged drivers to exercise caution as the San Diego River flooded roadways in the region on Monday, January 16.

The service warned residents to stay away from the area and never to cross a flooded roadway.

According to a post on the San Diego Fire-Rescue (SDFR) Twitter page, the department saved five people and searched for two others from roads flooded by the river.
