Florida Residents Undeterred by Rain as Early Voting Begins

Early voting began across most Florida counties on Monday, October 19, drawing long lines of voters to cast their ballots ahead of the November 3 presidential election.

Fifty-two of Florida’s 67 counties opened for in-person early voting on Monday, the Tampa Bay Times
reported.

This footage, shared on Monday morning by Natalie Torquato, shows voters standing under umbrellas at the South County Civic Center in Delray Beach. “This is what commitment looks like,” Torquato said in the video. “And I’m really happy nobody’s leaving.” Torquato told Storyful she waited for over four hours to cast her ballot.
