Fog and Low Clouds Hide Grand Canyon

The snow-dusted Grand Canyon was filled with fog and low clouds during a partial temperature inversion on Sunday, January 24, this video shows.

According to My Grand Canyon Park the temperature inversion usually occurs in the canyon in winter when warm air covers cold air, trapping clouds in the canyon.

The National Park Service warned that a larger storm was approaching the area on Monday and was expected to create hazardous travel conditions. Credit: Yadhira Chaparro via Storyful
