Man with foot fetish jailed for touching women's feet on trains
A man with a foot fetish has been jailed for two years after he was caught touching two women's feet on a train, having previously been convicted of another sexual assault.
Samuel Creed told one victim “I bet you wish you had a boyfriend like me to do this to you at night" as he squeezed her ankle in May 2021.
He also asked the woman questions about her shoes, which he touched without her permission.
Police identified Creed on CCTV as he had previously been banned from speaking to rail passengers following a sexual assault at a station in February 2020.
Ipswich Crown Court heard that the 21-year-old took off the boots of a teacher and massaged her feet while she was waiting for a train at Stowmarket station in 2020, and started moaning as if he was sexually aroused.
Following his sentence for that offence and one other, he failed to comply with the requirements of the criminal behaviour order (CBO), the court heard.
He was again overheard by a member of staff asking a woman about her feet at Ipswich railway station in March 2021, and he admitted breaching his CBO.
He also admitted a further breach and to sexually assaulting a teenage girl on a train to Colchester in May 2021, when he began talking to the victim before squeezing her foot in a massaging manner.
The teenager described Creed's behaviour as "creepy and strange" and said she was concerned by it, Marion Smullen, prosecuting, told the court.
Barnaby Shaw, representing Creed, said his client had complex mental health and behavioural difficulties and was "going to need supervision to assist him with his behaviour".
On Wednesday, Recorder Darren Reed revoked the community order and resentenced Creed, who appeared via prison video link, to a total of 12 months for the offences in 2019 and 2020.

He was also sentenced to a total of 14 months for the further sexual assault and two breaches of the CBO, which will run consecutively alongside the other offences, making a total of 26 months' imprisonment.
Detective Sergeant Hayley Whyte said: “Breaching his Criminal Behaviour Order and continuing to prey on women on the railway network evidently proves Creed’s intent and danger to society, which is why I’m pleased to see him behind bars.
“No one should be made to feel scared or uncomfortable whilst travelling, and we are committed to making sure women in particular feel safer on the network. We absolutely will not tolerate any form of sexual harassment. If you experience or witness anything, we urge you to report it to us by texting 61016. We will always take you seriously.”
