Former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny showed Arsenal still have a special place in his heart after Juventus's thrilling Champions League win over Tottenham on Wednesday.

Szczesny spent eight years with Arsenal before signing a four-year deal at Juve last summer.

The Poland international, who has deputised for Gianluigi Buffon on several occasions this term, was an unused substitued in the second leg against Spurs at Wembley.

Tottenham had looked on course to qualify for the last eight before Massimiliano Allegri threw on Stephan Lichtsteiner and Kwadwo Asamoah - a tactical intervention which shifted the course of the tie.

Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala struck in a devastating 161-second spell in the second-half which ultimately cost Spurs their place in the Champions League.

Szczesny relished the celebrations on the Wembley pitch more than most at full-time and was filmed targeting a 'chin up' gesture at home fans as he marched down the tunnel.
